Greg Pool retired from London’s Metropolitan Police Service with a Certificate of Exemplary Conduct having last specialised in intelligence management relating to domestic and international football matches.
He joined DHL in May 2001 as a Security Manager, gaining promotion to Senior Security Manager and later deputising for the Director of Security before leaving to join the Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT) as a Senior Investigator in February 2007.
Greg was the officer in charge of the largest and most complex private prosecution undertaken by FACT. This case involved the acquisition and management of 250,000 pages of evidence and 6TB of data. The two defendants were convicted of Conspiracy to Defraud in 2015, each sentenced to 3.5 years’ imprisonment and ordered to pay £1million after a separate Proceeds of Crime Hearing.
Greg is now a self- employed Consultant specialising in Intellectual Property.
