Bill Durrant retired after serving 30 years with the Metropolitan Police Service in London. Most of this time he was employed at New Scotland Yard investigating fraud, financial crime and money laundering. Latterly, he was employed as the dedicated fraud and financial investigation trainer at the Crime Academy at New Scotland Yard.
Since 2011 he has been engaged as a Consultant on many international projects, ranging from technical assistance relating to AML & the free movement of capital to the design and delivery of AML, Financial Investigation and Asset Recovery training courses. He has also designed and delivered training for the regulated sectors in the UK and has regularly delivered investigative training internationally. Bill, as Project Lead, recently concluded the delivery of a 24 month program of technical assistance that was delivered to the Kenyan Ethics & Anti Corruption Commission in Nairobi.
